Allen Frame's Opening tonight

Allen Frame是我在ICP最喜愛的老師之一，他擅長進入學生的內心深處挖掘出作品背後的意義並激發出創作的能量。今晚在Gitterman Galley是他最新展覽的開幕酒會，展覽將從09/10延續至10/31。展出的是Frame近幾年於墨西哥，巴西，阿根廷拍攝的彩色作品，概念延伸自之前的黑白創作。在這些非刻意的私密空間的瞬間，Frame利用色彩加強了即時性和感官性，帶領觀者進入主角的心理世界。

Avedon and Fashion Lecture

Richard Avedon是攝影界及時尚界的傳奇人物。在Avedon過世的幾年後，他的照片仍被視為時尚攝影的經典，直至今日，人們仍迷戀Avedon照片裡的花華與光彩。在ICP為Avedon辦回顧展即將結束的同時，ICP也規劃了一場Avedon & Fashion的座談會。與會者包括了紐約大都會博物館的策展人Harold Koda，Avedon 60年代的時尚超級名模China Machado，攝影師Lizzie Himmel，ICP策展人Carol Squiers & Vince Aletti。這場座談會將討論不斷變遷的時尚界範例。有興趣的朋友可以及早購票。

尚未觀賞ICP Avedon Show的朋友，也可以趕緊把握機會在9/20閉展前前往觀賞。這是我今年極為推薦的攝影展之一。
